Al-Bustan Seeds of Culture and Mural Arts Philadelphia are excited to host eL Seed in West Philadelphia!

(DIS)PLACED: Philadelphia is an initiative of Al-Bustan, exploring the theme of home, identity, and displacement through the documentation of local stories and the perspectives of four artists-in-residence. In partnership with Mural Arts Philadelphia, eL Seed is one of the artists invited to create a mural.

Born in France in 1981, eL Seed is an artist with Tunisian roots in North Africa. He strives through his work to bring people, cultures and generations together. With intricately layered calligraphy and street graffiti styles, his work expresses words, their meaning and movement, creating colorful patterns evoking universal themes. His art was born on the streets of Paris and now adorns walls across every continent.
