Join Al-Bustan Seeds of Culture and Beacon Theatre Productions for a reading of the play Hatshepsut which brings the tale of Queen Hatshepsut to life, who reigned as King of Egypt but was erased from history by her successor. 

In 1470 BC, Queen Hatshepsut became the King of Egypt and began one of the most successful reigns of any ancient Egyptian ruler. Then her successor literally erased her from history by chiseling her name and face off of any monument of her, which made her disappear from history for over 3000 years.
